Abu Al-Alaa reported: I asked Abu Sa’eed Al- Khudri about the lower garment. Abu Sa’eed said: You have come to one who knows it well. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The garment of a Muslim should be halfway down his shins and there is no harm if it comes between that and the ankles, but whatever is lower than the ankles is in the Hellfire.
