Abu Khattalas indictment has just been signed: charged of conspiracy to provide material support and resources to terrorism resulting in death. The trial, going against precedent, will be held in DC (and not in NYC). He was previously detained on the USS New York, aboard which he made the Tripoli - USA journey (insane). Any info potentially gathered on the ship cant be used in court! (in international waters; + he wasnt read his Miranda rights, as this piece confirms.)
