Academy students at Southeast High School participated in the TOM’s 7th annual ‘One Day Without Shoes’. One Day Without Shoes is the annual day when we take off our shoes to raise global awareness for childrens health and education. Start a conversation for change by going without shoes and sharing what youre doing, outside or online. The TOM’s mission is ABOUT MORE THAN SHOES. Children lacking access to education and good health struggle to break the poverty cycle for themselves, their families and their communities. With the complex issues surrounding poverty, there is not one solution, but many working together. We believe that shoes play an important role in helping keep children healthy, educated and moving toward opportunities for a better future.
