Accept what has been done to hurt you and those that did it as incidents in life, as lessons, learn the lessons and move on, but as you move on, change those with whom you are surrounded. Face the fact you can’t trust everyone.We all learn this lesson, most of the hard way, some of us keep repeating this lesson. Some people don’t mean to hurt you, and some do. Either way, forgive them. Remember that the forgiveness is all about you. Do it as a gift to yourself. Stop hoarding the toxic, release the negative energy of resentment, anger and revenge. It only directs your energy to negative thoughts, and soon it will consume you. The next step is: Make new choices about people you choose spend time with. Do not simple just cut those “energy vampires” out of your life, those that drain you and suck out your life. Replace them with positive, uplifting, growth-oriented behavior from other people into your lives. Remember not to strive to be alone, you might add another toxic person to your circle, but as soon as you recognize that delete them also. Often we choose to be alone, that is another wrong thing to to do. Iron sharpens Iron, so you need to be around people, just the right kind of persons. ~ Sheldon D Scipio
