Access No Longer Denied! After many months of the Access Denied campaign, the Labor Partys comfortable win in the State election on Saturday will deliver to the Thomastown electorate, in particular Epping North, the construction of the OHerns Rd Hume Freeway Interchange. With only the Labor Party and independent candidate Thomas Di Palma respectively pledging to build the Interchange/ lobby for the construction of the Interchange, the Aurora Community Association welcomes Labors win. The ACA also welcomes back Bronwyn Halfpenny as the returning MP for the seat of Thomastown, Lily DAmbrosio as returning MP for the seat of Mill Park and Danielle Green as returning MP for the seat of Yan Yean. You can find the most up to date election results at tallyroom.vic.gov.au/vtr/tallyroomdistricts.html. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Bronwyn, Lily and Danielle on matters of importance to the Epping North/ Wollert community! The ACA would also like to acknowledge Thomas Di Palma for all the hard work he put into standing in the State election for the benefit of his community. Although not successful in his attempt to become our local MP, Thomas gave our community a voice in the election, in particular highlighting and pushing the need for the construction of the OHerns Rd Hume Freeway Interchange.
