Acclaimed artist Gerard M. Burns has included our founder Magnus in his ’14 for 14’ exhibition alongside other prominent Scottish figures, including Ewan McGregor and Judy Murray. The painting of Magnus has been donated to Mary’s Meals and is available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds going to the charity. On Magnus’ inclusion in the exhibition, Gerard said: “For some time Magnus was at the top of my wish list. My wife Ellen, her mum and all of the sisters are involved in raising funds every week. Magnus’s story and the setting up of Mary’s Meals is like a modern day fairy tale. Despite having never met him, his reputation went before him.”
