According to 1 John 4:8 God is love. The nature of love is that it needs to be needed; there is a need God has because love creates need. He wants a place in your life. He wants your heart and He needs to be needed by you. And, because you are made in His image you also have a need and desire for love. The need and longing for love you have is directly related to the one who is supposed to fill it. Yet so often His people reject Him. A spirit of Harlotry has come into the lives of Gods people. They open up the depths of who they are to many and give their hearts away to different things and different people. The enemy understands your makeup and he taps into your need to be loved. He throws you bait in the form of bad relationships, addictions and all kinds of other things. Your heart begins to grow cold because there is constant disappointment as those things can never satisfy. Know that God wants to renew you today. There is only one person who can fill the voids in your heart and His name is Jesus. That is who you have been looking for all this time and only He can satisfy.
