According to The Washington Post, the Portland Trail Blazers are a pick-and-roll team failing in their favorite set. Its hard to disagree when its painfully obvious that the Spurs barely even have to defend these terrible attempts at an on-ball screen. In this example, the only reason Lillard was even able to get a shot off was due to his ability to get a quick step on his opponents. But hey, congratulations, Damian Lillard, youre quicker than a 31-year-old. This is just one of the countless demonstrations of incompetence on display in this series. If the Blazers want to go out with some dignity before they get swept in Game 4, theyre going to have to seriously reevaluate their offensive structure. Portland are certainly showing in this series that they still have a lot of maturing to do before they can even think about a championship. Who are you betting on for Game 4?
