According to Yahoo Finance; the car salesman has become passé, like a dinosaur…They don’t have the luxury anymore to cheat, or overcharge customers on badly made automobiles and vehicles. The car salesman has become another casualty of the Internet information age. As for me, I am in the market for a quality used car, according to the Yahoo article below, they are correct in the assumption that the average new and used car buyer, is FAR more informed than they were decades ago. People research their cars nowadays, unlike newspaper and magazine biased opinions, usually swayed in favor towards their advertising clients. A decade ago, we couldnt communicate with each other or read about complaints pertaining to automobiles. I use CarGurus and Oodle Marketplace, at Oodle, those have been invaluable websites to locate quality cars at affordable prices. What are most incredible, are the owner reviews and ratings on their specific automobiles. With TrueCar, Edmunds and Motortrend, providing most invaluable information with “true costs of ownerships for specific auto year and models,” that makes it next to none, the MOST formidable economical war chest for potential car buyers. Upon reading current owners reviews and experiences with their cars, it made no-brainer on which auto I would purchase next. After discovering through these websites that Honda Accords, noisy, with leaky oil and engine changes, and with Toyota’s Camry’s engine changes after 30,000 miles, who once enjoyed decades of top notch reputations in the past, however, they have declined in quality for the past five years, while Subaru Legacy and Hyundai’s were moving up in quality, as the better option, and most improved buy for around the same price on middle size sedans. The Internet, those websites, customer comments, has forced Toyota Corporation to revamp entirely their Camry’s for 2014. And on the other hand, these websites have been a goldmine, a financial boom for Hyundai’s Genesis, the best, affordable and most reliable of full size sedans made on earth according to their owner’s reviews. Too bad US made autos are not taking the Japanese and South Korean lead of improving their quality of cars, knowing the Internet is out there…..Oh Right, theyve got Obama and his taxpayer bailouts!! Why do they care? marcchamot.blogspot/2013/11/death-of-american-new-used-car-salesmen.html
