According to the 2:00pm the advisory from the National Weather Service Typhoon Vongfong is heading toward Rota and Guam (southern Marianas). Guam is currently under a Typhoon Warning and in Condition of Readiness 2. Typhoon Vongfong is located 295 miles east of Guam and moving West-Northwest at 21 miles per hour. Maximum sustained winds currently are 80 miles per hour. The current track would bring Vongfong to Rota and Guam early Monday morning at around 4 oclock Island residents are urged to prepare now. Storms shelters are now open.
