According to the borrow-and-spend Republicans, governing means to cut off revenue streams, run up the national debt then use the debt as excuse to slash, slow, or cut vital programs altogether as well as obstruct efforts to grow our economy. Oh and lets not forget, keep the public ignorant and emotionally gripped with fear! (Hardly the recipe for a free and prosperous society!!) This strategy hasnt changed in recent decades. With so much contempt for our Federal govt, why do these people even bother to run for Federal offices??!!?
