According to the bylaws of the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association, the Annual General Meeting must be held annually each year during the first quarter, but the next meeting is scheduled for June 7th. Moreover, there is no provision for creating a separate board of trustees, and yet, in the latest issue of the Alumni Spectator, one exists, comprised of the board of directors of the Campaign. I urge fellow alumni to contact both organizations and demand explanations for having the AGM in June and for creating a separate board of trustees: shsaa.org/About-the-SHSAA/our-bylaws Feel free to alert other alumni. The trustees are not listed on the SHSAA website. I think we, as alumni, are entitled to know why such a board was established.
