According to the story you are about to read, Kwesi Appiah says the players were demanding for their appearance fees in cash because they did not have bank accounts in Ghana. My checks however reveal that Unibank not only issued Mastercards to the players but opened accounts for each of the players for the money to be paid into. 1. So why did the players go against this arrangement, when Unibank is the official bank for the Black Stars and is pumping in $400,000 a year for three years? 2. Why was the President of Ghana kept in the dark about FIFAs offer to pay the players money directly into their accounts, until after he had organised the transport of the money to Brazil? 3. Was this agitation from the players, or from the GFA big wigs who also wanted their money in cash? 4. Who was in the plane that landed in Brazil with the money but did not get out of the plane, since the plane was continuing to Malabo? More questions than answers ooooooooo
