Account Executive Mortgage Center, Southfield Mortgage Center is seeking an account executive for its office in Southfield. The qualified individual will be passionate about developing and nurturing relationships with existing credit union main office employees and branch employees. This person will ensure credit unions are utilizing all of the marketing materials available to them and assist in the implementation of marketing strategies; as well as have responsibility for training and educating credit union staff to ensure they are comfortable with the mortgage program. Specific functions of the position include: visiting credit unions on a regular basis to increase mortgage volume; identifying, managing and staffing conferences and events to build awareness with credit unions; identifying and meeting with prospective credit unions to offer Mortgage Center mortgages; contributing marketing ideas and concepts to the department; ensuring that any of the credit unions special requests have been met; being available for member appreciation days and accompany credit union staff on SEG visits; assisting in credit union charity outings; coordinating special marketing requests; contributing newsletter articles and ideas to communicate to credit union staff; creating and monitoring marketing plans and making adjustments when needed; monitoring the individual credit unions’ marketing results and reporting on same. A minimum of two years experience in and a desire to manage an outside sales and marketing environment is required. Knowledge of mortgage origination and servicing is preferred. The ability to work outside normal business hours is needed. Specific skills necessary include: excellent presentation skills; the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
