We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Accounting Intern, who has a passion for number as well as fashion, to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity. You will gain valuable experience and insight into the workings of our accounts department. You will work closely with our Bookkeeper and be involved in the following: • Assist in providing bookkeeping services to all divisions of 2nd Take using Pastel, MBO and other systems • Capture bank, petty cash and credit card statements • Check daily cash ups • Conduct research to ensure 2nd Take is compliant with all legal financial requirements • Assist in keeping accounting systems at all times up to date • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts • Assist in producing accurate management reports over specific periods • Reconcile supplier ledgers • Capture invoices • Assist in Payroll management • Stock take and stock control • Develop and implement new projects from time to time • Assist in the preparation of financial plans/budgets/forecasts • Develop and streamline operational processes • Accounting Certificate or Diploma • Basic book keeping accounting experience • Flexibility • Experience with Pastel programs • Payroll knowledge • MS Office • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multi-task • Dead-line driven • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills • Drivers license • Strong analytical skills • Well organized • Be able to work independently as well as within a team • Goal driven and results orientated • Attention to detail and a can do attitude at all times • Solution orientated • Huge interest in fashion If you think you have what it takes and this might be a position you will enjoy, please send us your CV or contact us on 021 434 5878.
