Accrington Stanley vs Oxford United 2 @ 2,00 Bottom placed - TopicsExpress

Accrington Stanley vs Oxford United 2 @ 2,00 Bottom placed Accrington take on 3rd from top Oxford this weekend and I am going for Oxford to maintain their good start and to pile on more misery for Accrington in this match for a maximum bet. Accrington have drawn 3 and lost 8 games so far and they are already 5 points adrift at the bottom of the league. They dont concede too many goals although they have ony kept 1 clean sheet so far but their main problem is scoring goals as they have only scored 7 goals so far and have failed to score on 5 seperate occasions. They just dont generate enough attacks and with an average of just 2 shots on target per game they arent going to be scoring many goals. to compound this issue one of their main goal scorers was sent off at the weekend and will be missing from this match to further redeuce their attacking power. Oxford have been playing very well particularly away from home with 4 wins and 1 draw and with a total of 14 goals scored in these 5 games at an average of just under 3 goals scored per game they have been excellent although these away games have been against teams in the bottom half of the table so they should do well against Accrington but may struggle against some of the better teams. Their home form hasnt been quite as good with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats but these 2 defeats and 2 draws were against teams in the top half of the league and this type of form has to be taken into account for the future games as it looks like they may be struggling against the top teams. The good part of Oxfords home form is that they have won the two games played against the teams in the bottom third of the league and they will come into this match very confident of beating a poor Accrington team. In summary Oxford should win this match although it probably wont be by a large scoreline as Accrington dont concede many goals.
