Act no 2 of 2010 (Safety and Security at Sports and Recreational Events Act), available at parliament.gov.za/live/commonrepository/Processed/20130507/274809_1.pdf , makes no mention of weapon or firearm anywhere. It does allow for the organiser or National Commisioner to restrict admission or exclude visitors If the National Commissioner, event safety and security planning committee, authorised member or VOC commander has reasonable grounds to believe that there is a threat that the attendance of a person or group of persons may result in the disruption of the event or cause injury to a person or damage to property... Are licensed firearm owners considered to be threats?
