Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has picked Barrister Afrimu Jingi, as his running mate ahead of the October 11 governorship bye-election in the state. National Mirror gathered from impeccable Government House sources that Jingi was the candidate selected by a three member search team constituted by the acting governor, chaired by Hon. Wilbina Jackson, the member representing Guyuk constituency in the state legislature. With the issue of deputy governor allegedly sorted out, Fintiri began consultations yesterday with various groups within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ahead the October 11 bye-election.
