Acting on impulse makes us: 1) Buy stuff we don’t need at prices - TopicsExpress

Acting on impulse makes us: 1) Buy stuff we don’t need at prices we can’t afford; 2) React before we get all the facts; 3) Compromise our character for a few moments of sinful pleasure; 4) Quit in the middle of a race, or worse still, on the threshold of victory. To help, the verse, ‘He that believeth shall not make haste” (Isaiah 28:16) reminds us of the need to always make choices based on life-long convictions and goals. So, rather than go for temporary satisfaction and trade your God-given destiny for momentary gratification, learn to be patient and hold fast for at the appointed time, God will bring your dreams to pass in ways that will astound you!
