Actors are unhurt after fire on film set in Thailand A fire has broken out on the set of Hollywood film The Coup, starring Owen Wilson and Lake Bell. The movie, which is currently being shot in Thailand, also features Pierce Brosnan. A spokesman for the films local production company in Thailand said the fire started on Wednesday evening after the days shoot had finished. None of the actors were on set at the time and nobody was injured during the blaze. The spokesman said that before the fire had started, the cast had filmed an explosion scene inside an old building. Police said they thought the special effects had caused an electrical short circuit that started the fire. The Coup is about a US family living in Asia who get caught up during a political uprising. Owen Wilson and Lake Bell are currently on location, while Pierce Brosnan is expected to arrive in Thailand later this year.
