Acts 18: 24-26: Priscilla and Aquila, where willing to reach out to a man and to teach him the way of God more adequately. Under the “old Covenant” the Laws of Moses, Woman were not supposed to teach. The churches held steadfast to this belief even though we are under the NEW COVENNAT- The covenant of the bloodshed by the lamb for our Salvation. The covenant of Jesus Christ, which includes Grace, and of Faith. If God is calling you to teach his word, he will qualify to teach. In addition, it does not matter what gender you are. Under the New Covenant, gender does not matter to God. For that, we can be grateful. Oh and please note, there are things, that I feel women, we should not necessarily do; However teaching the word is something as women that we should do. We are expected to be ministers for Christ. We are expected to win souls for Christ. We are expected to be lights of the World. We have an equal responsibility regardless of gender. 25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.
