Acts 28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, There are too many divisions in the body of Christ. Denominations, religious ideas, commandments of men, arrogantly boasting of who we are and what we can do instead of what Jesus has already accomplished at Calvary. Putting standards on people when they come to God, handing them a rule book instead of reaching out with the Gospel, law and works instead of Faith and Grace. The above scripture said Paul received ALL THAT CAME UNTO HIM. Can we receive all that walks through the doors of the church just the way they are? With their problems? Baggage? Religious theology? Without trying to change them right away? Placing our expectations on them? Pressure instead of Love? Critism rather than Compassion? Do we believe the Gospel can change them? Do we? Can we simply believe Justification by Faith and Sanctification by the Spirit? The simplicity of Christ? This is the message that makes the sinner free and nurtures the saint to maturity, not rules and regulations. The scripture below says Paul preached the kingdom of God and those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospel is concerning Christ and him crucified, His finished work. This is the focal point of our Faith, everyday all the time, upon every occasion and circumstance. This ushers in the Grace of God and influences our lives, not a harsh rule book. I have come to the conclusion that many are afraid of Grace, maybe you dont understand it, stuck in an old frame of mind, afraid of what someone might say about you. Listen, Grace is NOT a license to sin, it is the freedom from sin and religion. I wouldnt trade anything for this awesome New Testament Covenant of Grace. It is liberating and truly Amazing! Acts 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. There is a difference between Religion and Christianity. I choose Christianity and that defines a believer.
