Acts 4:11-12 This Jesus is the stone you builders rejected; he has become the cornerstone! Salvation can be found in no one else. Throughout the whole world, no other name has been given among humans through which we must be saved." (Acts of the Apostles 4:11, 12 CEB) Thought for the Day: Have you ever thought about what is holding you together? Have you thought about where your center is? When it comes to holding a building together there is a stone called the cornerstone or the capstone. The cornerstone unites two walls at the corner of a building and holds the building together. The Bible reminds us that Jesus is the stone that was rejected by the builders because he was not what they were looking for. Be reminded that there are those who will reject you because you are not the ones they are looking for; but just know that the head cornerstone, Jesus, is the one that is holding us together and through him we receive salvation. Just know that they rejected Jesus and if you are saved by the blood of Jesus then it stands that you too will be rejected. Your center is in Jesus who is the one holding your building together. Prayer for the Day: God we give you thanks for being the cornerstone of our lives. We bless and praise you for the gift of salvation and the fact that there is no other name by which we shall be saved but by the name of Jesus. Bless us in this day to remain strong in you.
