Actually Alex Bright I could see an R rated series based on the Elder Scrolls go to a very dark area with illusion magic. That is what slavers (human traffickers) often use. Ya know how some human trafficking is for organs? There could be human trafficking to fill soul gems. Correct me if Im wrong, but during the times the Frankenstein novels took place, were there not people called sack-em-ups that would kidnap random people off the street to (usually) kill and experiment on a person. There could be something to that with the Necromancer analogy, explaining one aspect of why its taboo compared to other forms of science/magic. Problem is going this route, to be respectable, would be to somehow take this subject seriously and with enough respect to the morality and seriousness of this matter even within the confines of a fantasy novel. People could do a good job with it and make a serious anime or tv series...but they shouldnt do it at the cost of integrity. Your thoughts?
