Actually,I am not very Facebook savvy and didnt mean to post the Im against paying for the war thingy. I just dont know about any of that... But I think I meant to send it to someone. Truth be told Im a middle of the roader. I do not support the views of extreme liberals and definitely do not support those with very conservative view points. (Conservatives... Please dont comment... Lets just not go there). I do very much support soldiers, veterans always have probably more strongly then some . Frankly, I dont know a social worker alive that doesnt think we need to do a lot more for vets and their families. My father served in Korea for years, during the war and after. He had several horrible experiences most of which he said we will never know about. He was an officer in charge of an artillery platoon or squadron , or whatever. On several occasions he had to make a decision not to follow an order because he felt strongly that the order would put too many American soldiers at risk. Barely got away with it. My Dads father died at the breakfast table in front if my Dad, age 3. The result of poison gas attacks (WWI.. ). His mother was left very depressed, alone with with four small children, during the Depression. My point is I am not for or against the war... I against a lot of crap and crap people associated with the war..But, I cannot support the horrible atrocities against civilians particularly women and children over there... It s more than threat of terrorism to me, I d be as bad as those I complain about if I supported human rights only for American families and children. I am not entirely anti liberal or anti conservative. Ill share some of what I do feel very strongly about regarding this country ..and I understand many believe it should be everyman for himself in America. I think that mentality is short sighted and self centered, and irresponsible. This following list is not all inclusive...
