So to reach out to clients or customers, one must engage them personally and not fleetingly. The message was sent out on Monday at ET In Campus -Leaders on leadership lecture series, an event presented by The Economic Times and powered by Pooravs `Commando energy drink in association with Globsyn Business School. “Only governments can MAKE MONEY . For others, money simply exchanges hands. So, one must shake as many hands as possible.Social networking simply involves a large circle of people you are aware of. Do not turn away from technology but dont get too obsessed with social media either. At the end of the day, your core skills are your biggest strength,“ said Aji Issac, CEO and co-founder of end-to-end digital marketing agency Techshu. During his power presentation on `Social media as a marketing tool, Issac further used clips to demonstrate how information and entertainment is being used to engage target groups. Poorav Infrastructure Ltd general manager Sandip Ghosh said: “Our product is fo cusing on youth. That is why we have associated with this lecture series that involves young students. Our product has 50% less caffeine when compared to other energy drinks in the MARKET.” John Mukherjee, CEO of Poorav Infrastructure, was also present at the event. Making most of the event, students fired intelligent questions to the speakers. One them asked if there’s any guarantee that some other form of media will not bury Facebook just as it did Orkut when the latter was the top social networking site. Issac replied with the examples of how social media is now integrated with products to directly engage buyers. “Now social media is integrated in chips. At many places, radio-frequency identification is being used in such a way that when a prospective buyer puts on some clothes for trial, the RFID device will play music or give a brief history of the material, its designer or the concept behind the product. The customer is hooked and easily engaged,” Issac explained with the help of audio-visuals. FROM AROUND THE WEB X Others tried it and loved it MarimediaEat THIS.. Never Diet Again.....Eat THIS..
