Adam is running as a Democrat on UFAAs program of radical economic reform: the Wall Street Sales Tax; seizing the Federal Reserve to finance $3.6 trillion in public infrastructure; rejecting the TPP in favor of a protective tariff; and a $15 federal minimum wage, among other demands. If he can make the Democratic primary, we feel very confident about the chance to beat Blue Dog Democrat Scott Brion, an investor in Pennsylvanias controversial fracking industry. Adam is the only candidate in the race supporting a moratorium on fracking in favor of big investments in US national laboratories. With limited resources, helped in part by the generous contributions of some of UFAAs friends and volunteers, Adam and others have been hitting the streets for weeks in northeastern PA. Adam has built an excellent network among the areas Democratic party organizations, but is struggling mightily to gather the necessary number of ballot signatures in time.
