Adamawa State We the People (Plaintiffs) Vs. Former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi (Defenders) “We the People” bring the case against former Senator Jibril Aminu and Mr. Aliyu Idi for unfair, unequal, unjust and religious discrimination against the citizens of Adamawa State. “We the People” of Adamawa State refuse to be budged down by religious and cynical believe in the discriminative mentality of radical individuals such as former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi. Former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi has long supported the radical ideological believe that only a Muslim is born to be a district head, traditional ruler, public figure and community leader. “We the People” of Adamawa State have seen this in former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi by causing problems within the people’s democratic party known as (PDP) in an effort to endorse muslim candidates in local, state and federal position of money and power. Former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi supported Muslim candidates after the return of democratic governance to Nigeria in 1999. Former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi supported Mr. Atiku Abubakar for governor of Adamawa State in the 1999 elections. Again, former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi support Retired Admiral Murtala Nyako for governor of Adamawa State in 2007. After the impeachment of Governor Murtala Nyako for embezzlements of public funds and irresponsible behavior within and outside the republic, now former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi has organized a plan to force Mr. Aliyu Idi as the next governor of Adamawa State in the by-elections 2014. Also, in an attempt to organize a siege that would prepare Mr. Aliyu Idi as governor for the election in 2015, former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi are using every means necessary to create conflicts within different religious groups, cultures, and within political parties to change the debate for credible and serious issues facing Adamawa State. “We the People” of Adamawa State has brought these charges to create the awareness and education, but also hold former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi responsible for religious and cultural problems within Adamawa State and many others who would support Mr. Aliyu Idi within Nigeria as a whole as the next governor of Adamawa State. “We the People” are seeking justice and equal opportunity to participate in election without regards to religious, cultural or traditional affiliation on bases of nothing more than ideas, and in an effort to keep the separation of state and religion as the principles of democratic government. Therefore, “We the People” are asking the question, would former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi ever support other candidates that are not Muslim? Do former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi believe in one God? Do former Senator Jibril Aminu & Mr. Aliyu Idi believe in equal treatment of citizen irrespective of religious, cultural or traditional believes? “We the People” believe the facts are self-evident, and the answer is NO.
