Adding to Tangeni, Tiger and the others comment: Good point you all have on the devolopment ant the improvement of our town, one thing that has to happen is that the youth need to stand up against the Gobabis town council. We need to be heard by the council.. Just look at the poor structures that are in place for the development of the town, the town planners need to go for proper training and know how to plan the town.. Yes we do have people that need affordable houses ect. but in the same breath we need to look at the potential of the town by uplifting valueable properties that will give others a reason to invest into Gobabis.. Church street need a proper facelift when it comes to new structures, our industrial area need to be upgraded from the roads to proper wharehouse structures. New Locations need to be located with marketable structures, Old age home need to be renovated as it is our elders/senior citizens living in it.. A community gaurd needs to be established connected with the Namibian Police in Gobabis for the reducing of crime within our town, the Gobabis municipality need to alocate land that can be tenered out for entertainment e.g. Swimming pool, Braai areas, Municipal Camping Areas, Open Markets for the community for tourism purposes, Car show facilities as well as traditional show purposes. The location need to be attended to starting from business owners to upgrade their structures to an attractive manner as well as to tighten their quality of proviting to the community. The council need to start supporting and partnering with the communities proposals and work together.. For the graveyards i dont want to say alot because it seems to be attented to even if it takes years to complete the fencing of it..
