My Story No gimmicks, hidden agenda or half-truths. “Oh good grief, not another recruitment add from a Forever Living distributor!” I can almost hear you all cry in unison, I know I did. But then I stopped to think why there were so many and began to do some research? Well apart from amazing products actually working and doing what it says on the tin, for many replying to the adverts just like one I’ve posted below, Forever Living has proven to be the opportunity they were waiting for. Of course I’m recruiting others to my team, why wouldn’t I want others to benefit just as I have, that’s what the Forever ethos is about helping others, growing individuals and the company through support and training and for them to do the same. What role do I play? Apart from retailing the products, I coach, support and mentor new distributors, enabling them to become confident and successful in growing their own business with FLP. I’m not a sales person, I never have been, but I use the products and can confidently chat to family, friends and complete strangers about the health benefits my family and I have gained, I think enthusiasm is infectious, I am honest about the products and not about to recommend anything I don’t believe in. So if I’m not a sales person why did I choose this to be my business? Have you ever woken up in the morning to an alarm screeching away, dreading your day at work and thinking there has got to be more to life than this? Or had that conversation with your boss about wanting time off to watch your child’s sports day or Christmas play, or wondered what it would be like to be your own boss, work your own hours, earn what your worth, or even just earn a bit of extra income for Christmas, that car you’ve always wanted or an extra holiday with the family or to be able to book a weekend away without feeling guilty about spending money on yourself instead of the bills. Well that was me, and whilst you were reading I bet you answered yes to at least two of them. I’m not easily fooled, I was in a highly stressful managerial role working long hours, for someone else, who didn’t appreciate my hard work and commitment, now I work the hours I want, meeting lovely people, making new friends, supported by Forever Living UK, earning a respectable income receiving a monthly bonus, and well on my way to a promotion and car plan incentive. There is no competition between distributors we really are like one big family and support each other all the way. Each one of us had a reason for answering that add, and as corny as any of these stories sound to you, they are from real people, who work hard to build their own businesses. We are not trying to recruit everyone, because it only works for those that really want it, that are prepared to give it all they’ve got, that want to successfully run a business of their own. Don’t prejudge, before you’ve taken time to find out more, is this your opportunity? You will kick yourself if you don’t at least look into it.
