Admin - delete if not ok :) HELP! Im having a car issue, Im not sure if it has to do with the cold weather or something else. Its a 97 VW Jetta, I went to start it today and the alarm started going off. The car didnt come with a key fob so I dont have an alarm button. I think I may have left the radio on (we got a jump and my daughter said it came on when I hooked up the jumper cables) I have no idea how to bypass the security alarm, and now every time I try to start it the horn starts going. Plus the batter is dead lol. I didnt go anywhere yesterday, but the day before when I went to leave it sounded like the battery was having a hard time starting the car. Cold weather Im sure, it doesnt normally do that. The manager where I live is the one that tried to give me a jump but shes having some back issues and I hate to ask her to keep helping me. Is there anyone that knows about this kind of thing that could just stop by if they are on their way to/from Bend/Redmond? I dont have cash - but I will pay it forward
