People mourn in different ways and for some that involves a picture. I have pictures of George right after he passed. Rats curl up and look asleep anyways once they pass(and anyone who has a rat who sleeps in the dead rat pose knows that heart attack all too well). We are NOT changing rules to forbid people to no longer share pics of their pet having just passed because if that helps their healing process than anyone should fully support it just like when your pet passes we will support you on whatever ways you need to vent and mourn. Death is part of life. Yes its scary, yes the thought of a sick rat terrifies me and most people especially with knowing they are on earth for so little time. You still need to learn to love and respect all those who are hurting inside and out after losing their love. Life is a cyclical process and eventually everything does die. We are born and are on a one way ticket to death one day. Everyone has a right to mourn in the most healthy way they need to. You still need to learn to love and respect all those who are hurting inside and out after losing their love. If you dont like how someone mourns and cannot respect the person mourning than by all means keep scrolling or leave RFC. No one has a right to push their beliefs on someone else either its a two way street. The only right anyone has is to love and respect each other and help those hurting from loss. To each their own but mourning is healthy and if someones mourning includes a picture so be it. Rats will get sick rats will die. Humans will get sick humans will die! The rule is not changing. This has come up way too many times and every time its said the rule will not change. Accept it for what it is you dont have to like it but you have to respect it.
