(Admin) Welcome to all new members and welcome to the Edible Wild - TopicsExpress

(Admin) Welcome to all new members and welcome to the Edible Wild Plants group! A reminder that our guidelines are pinned to the top of the page. Ive copied them here. Please review them, esp. #3 1. We prefer YOUR photos, observations and first hand experiences, rather than links to external sources. You may link to your own site but please engage in the group. 2. Mushrooms (even though we love them) are not plants. Mushroom postings will be removed. Please try a mushroom group: https://facebook/groups/117808248330980/ 3. If you need a plant identified (What is this plant?), please use a plant identification group, first - we focus on edible plants. We are happy to confirm the ID of plants you think are edible (Is this goosefoot, pokeweed, peppergrass?). https://facebook/groups/543712979003375/ 4. For plant medicine, please visit a herbal medicine group (we focus on plants used as food): https://facebook/groups/2426239459/ 5. Botanical names are the ONLY consistent and universal language of plants. Common names vary widely, and different plants can share a common name; this can lead to life-threatening mistakes. Please make an effort to use or research botanical names when researching IDs. Use Google like you mean it . 6. We are a diverse and large group. To stay on topic, anything not related directly to edible wild plants may be removed with no warning. This includes gardening, herbal medicine, religious, political, activist, advertisement posts.
