Position Description You will provide administrative support to the Manager Workforce and Corporate Development and undertake specific tasks within the Workforce and Corporate Development section, including but not limited to; processing of recruitment checks (e.g. pre-employment medicals, “Working With Children Checks”, “Evidence of the Right to Work” etc) and assisting with the coordination and implementation of Council’s Permanent Appointment process, Competency/Performance Assessments and Work Placement programs. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Minimum TAFE Certificate related field e.g. Human Resources. Demonstrated relevant experience. Experience in the use of various computer applications e.g. Word, Excel etc. Class “C” Licence. Salary and Conditions A salary range of $903.90 - $1012.40 (Grade 5) per week is applicable to this position. A salary will be negotiated with the preferred candidate depending on qualifications, knowledge and experience. The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
