Administration Careers in Kenya Administrative Manager (Salary 100-130k) Our client is an established motor vehicle sales organization that has ranked in the top 100 SMEs group. They are seeking for an Administrative Manager to help run their organization. Job Duties and Responsibilities Financial management • Initiate efforts to make office more cost effective and review processes for cost saving measures • Communicate with finance department on equipment maintenance needs • Initiate with the finance department and pass on all administrative spending requests • Negotiating with external providers of services to secure the best possible deals • Monitoring relevant expenditure across Operations budgets, flagging up any issues and participate in Quarterly Budget Review/ Forecast meetings Planning &coordinating activity • Maintaining an overview of activities across the department at all times to ensure effective use of resources • Sharing information and knowledge and enabling cooperative working across teams • Evaluating the effectiveness of the support provided by the administrative team and updating processes and procedures accordingly • Developing systems to enable forward planning and cost savings, specifically around Communication from Operations • Planning and coordinating the implementation of corporate initiatives/ decisions within Operations Staff management • Creating a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well-managed and staff can do their best • Planning and allocating work, monitoring achievement of deadlines and supporting staff as appropriate • Managing performance and development, mainly through regular supervision sessions and the performance development review process • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained Coordinating information & communication • Working with colleagues within the Communications team to develop systems to communicate with members in a responsible and cost effective way • To work with the Heads of Services within Operations to support internal communications and developing an effective two-way flow of information • Initiate preparation for and participate in all office-wide staff meetings Required Qualifications At least 2 years in a managerial position A minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or similar course Must have a valid driving license Good understanding of cars Understanding of car security Understanding of the vehicle sales Good understanding of car Insurance Experience in the automotive business Good knowledge of car sales in vehicle sales Attention to detail and good organization skills Results orientation Self reliant able to work with minimum supervision Personal drive and enthusiasm Ability to achieve results through others Flexibility/Responsiveness Ability to work well with others If you are up to the challenge send your CV only and current salary to, [email protected], indicating the title (Administration Manager (Salary 100-130k) on the subject line before the 8th August 2013.
