Prepare letters, memos and other documents and correspondence. Proofread typed documents for accuracy and completeness. Schedules meetings and travel arrangements for members of the department or office. Maintaining departmental records and files. Assists in planning special events, such as workshops and receptions. Order supplies and equipment; maintains service contracts on office equipment; handle payment of invoices. Answers telephones, screens and directs phone calls. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree; or high school diploma or GED and four years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Preferred Hiring Qualifications: Preference may be given to those who have experience supporting high level administrator(s); experience preparing letters, memos and other documents and correspondence; experience scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.
