Administrative Court nullifies decision of Ministry of Higher education towards evaluation of Jordanian bachelors degree The Administrative Court presided over by Judge Nasser Al-Atari has nullified the decision issued by the Ministry of Higher Education to refuse the evaluation of the bachelor degree in accounting that a Kuwaiti citizen obtained from a Jordanian University. During the court session, the plaintiff counsel explained that her client decided to further his education outside the country after completing his schooling in Kuwait. She said the Cultural Office at Kuwait Embassy in Jordan had approved the admission when her client who had registered for programming engineering had later changed his specialty to accounting. However, after the plaintiff graduated in 2013 from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the ministry denied the evaluation of his certificate with the excuse that ministerial decision 172/2009 had restricted the specialty and that he did not seek prior approval before joining the program, which violated decision 602/2007.
