Admins thoughts and opinions regarding the Stallion-Rufo-Global - TopicsExpress

Admins thoughts and opinions regarding the Stallion-Rufo-Global case(I know this is kinda late, but due to the match that is set to happen tonight, I decided to write my thoughts about the case): Global will be facing Loyola tonight in the Quarter Finals of the 2013 UFL Cup. It would have been really nice to see the much-coveted Spanish Duo from Spain on the same pitch again but not as teammates as we are used to. Yes I am referring to Joaca Canas and Rufo Sanchez they should have been facing-off tonight but a big melee between two UFL Clubs prevented this from happening not only now, but probably ending all the possibilities of them facing-off each other again as Sanchez left the Philippines after getting a lengthy 1-year ban. I am still gutted regarding the hullabaloo that happened between Stallions and Global. The issue could have been dealt with more care and consideration from both sides and the governing body of the UFL. Football is consistently growing here in our country but these sort of issues will surely stall the development of football in our beloved country. To know all the facts and stories from both clubs and the player involved, you will surely shake your head in dismay, not only because it is really disappointing but it could have been dealt-with in a better, faster, and effective way. I think it is a big step backward for our progress, considering the fact that he is one of the greatest player in the league. To have him playing here is a big boost but now that he is gone, maybe not for good, but we will surely miss his predator-like instinct in front of goal this season. I am still hoping that one day the footballing progress of our country will be seen in every aspect of the sport.
