Adorable Amos seems as confused by the ACC as everyone else is. This 5 year young LHASA APSO mix came in as a stray and was immediately subjected to all kinds of tests and trials with folks he didn’t recognize or know. He found it to be a bit of a confusing maze! Amos sports a fetching tan and black coat that was slightly matted on intake indicating he had been either uncared for or on his own. Easy fix there! He weighs almost 18 pounds and is a good little nugget to love! The confusion comes as the ACC did not seem to be able to make up their mind about Amos. On the one hand they say Amos is sociable, not fearful, was bright, alert, responsive, and hydrated. All great attributes! On the other hand they say he was tense, nervous, and distracted and didn’t know what to make of the assess-a-hand resulting in a bite. They also slapped Amos with a poor rating on the food portion of his safer. This split in intake information earned Amos an NH only rating so he must be taken through a NH approved rescue only. However that is not a big deal because Amos is most certainly worth the effort! Amos is a wonderful 5 year old young man in his prime. He is frightened in his new home and is looking for a way out now. The ACC has Amos on the to be destroyed list tonight. He won’t see a tomorrow unless we advocate mightily for him now. Please help Amos see that tomorrow he so richly deserves. He is most certainly worth it!
