Adorable boy! **ADORABLE LEO HAS AN AMAZING AVERAGE RATING!** A volunteer had this to say: Feeling blue? Heres Super Leo to the rescue! This handsome young guy wears the black mask and cape of a doggie superhero for a reason, no frown cant be turned upside-down when Leo is on the case, he has a face to fall in love with and the personality to match! Sharpei wrinkles perfectly frame his round chocolate drop eyes and as he scrambles onto my lap and turns to look up at me I am instantly smitten. His coat may be a little worse for wear right now but with a good diet and some TLC hes going to be a gorgeous and unique-looking dog. When Id first come to leash him, Leo thought it was a game and tugged the rope from my hands with glee but we soon solved that problem with the offer of a yummy treat (which he took eagerly but softly) and it seems our hero will do anything for a snack. I dont think his new parents are going to have any trouble motivating this guy to learn some new tricks! Leo walks nicely on leash, pulling slightly yet never anything but easy to handle and he appears to be extremely house trained as well. When he sees other dogs its with the same friendly, playful manners he shows his human friends. Leo has a sensitive side too and when a staff member turns on a hose out in the yard he lowers his belly to the ground to wait for the watery menace to abate - as we all know, every superhero must have a nemesis! Leo is still searching for the perfect sidekick so if youve got what it takes to stand by his side with loyalty and love then you know what to do...Come on in to the NYC AC&C and prepare to commence snuggling!
