Adrian Wyllie for Governor takes a preemptive strike at an invitation to participate in a candidates debate that he suspects may be retracted on an arbitrary technicality. We saw the Republicans do that to the Honorable Ron Paul (R) at the RNC presidential convention and we saw the Democrats do that to the Honorable Dennis Kucinich (D) during the presidential primary debates. Much like Adrian says in his letter below, i.e., that the AP creates criteria for debate participation that they know Libertarian candidates will no meet, so has the legislature created criteria that provides public campaign financing that only Democrat and Republican candidates qualify for. Thats right, the taxpayers will be matching $$millions in private funds to Rep and Dem candidates in Florida who already have 200 times in their war chests than their Libertarian opponents, but none of the peoples tax money goes to the Libertarian statewide candidates who really need it. We the people have got to stop allowing this to occur. We can do in two ways: 1) Learn about the prejudicial treatment built into Floridas electoral process that prevents Libertarians from being heard; and 2) vote Libertarian.
