Advent Albums Day 16 - One of my favourite tracks from the 1986 album Infected by The The which if you read the Wikipedia article about the making of the videos is one of the most chaotic, out of control, damaged productions ever, almost killing Matt Johnson in the process as he went into a spiral of self destructive behaviour. There is a disturbing intensity on the album which makes that believable. Of course 1986 was a very different time with concerns about a growing gap between the rich and the poor and American fighting in the Middle East so the album has dated badly...
