Advent day #16: part one: lets make snow and have a snowball fight!! The weather took a break from the rain and I felt a little better after a nice nap with Norah, so we made instant (fake) snow and then had an epic snowball fight. Its called Speedy Snow, I bought it from Lakeshore. Cool stuff! Whatever this snow is made from, it feels so real. Its even cold, so when the girls would throw the snow and it would go down my coat...it was COLD! We had lots of fun and it was definitely the laughter medicine I needed to feel a little better! The part 2 of advent today was drive around and check out some Christmas lights. First stop Starbucks for some hot cocoa. We went to two different neighborhoods, one being a new neighborhood Id never been to before. They were great and the girls loved it and we listened to Christmas music and it was wonderful. We missed daddy, but we have one more Christmas lights on the calendar that he will be home for. Even though Im sick, its been a really nice day.
