Adventure to the Sunset Drive-in Theater I cant even recall the last time I went to a drive-in movie (Im thinking it was years ago at the old drive-in in Paso Robles). Well tonight, Magaline and I packed up the two youngest grandkids (Michael and Alyssa) and took off in moms old Chevy Lumina for a family adventure to the only remaining drive-in movie theater in the county. We loaded up the car with the essentials: pillows, blankets and a big bag containing popcorn, candy and drinks. To make the adventure even more special, it was the first time that the two grandkids had ever seen a movie at a drive-in theater. Things were still pretty much the way I had remembered with the exception of no window hung speakers anymore...good thing the old Lumina had an operable FM radio in it so we could get sound. And if youre curious, the movie we saw was Big Heroes 6. To my pleasant surprise it wasnt too bad of a movie making it the perfect adventure.
