Adventure with TROY POLAMALU ACADEMIC TEAM ch. 4: When the academic team took to their Faasamoa Camps presentation they hit the ground running! I did my best to make sure all the technological media they needed was operating flawlessly and on time, Ethan took care of all logistics pertaining to food, transportation of materials, and the other physical stuff while Irene took around Pennys team overseer and liason to Troy and Theodora. Her name was Elizabeth (hope I spelled her name right) and she went about meeting with American Samoa government sector and private sector executives and managers to get them in on the program. This was an all out ATTACK on all fronts STRATEGY executed by the Polamalu Academic Team. Their aim was MAXIMIZING the potential for excelled improvements with American Samoas academic situation. These are only thing you get to see on a large continent scale yet here it was being implemented for FREE in little ol American Samoa through the love and compassion of very prestigious people. These educators were LUCKY and BLESSED beyond belief. I dont think they realized that at first. With each passing activity, (such as the HELIUM STICK DEMONSTRATION, one of the best group activities and comprehension Ive experienced to date) and discussion though, I saw the FIRE and PASSION of EDUCATION light up in these EDUCATORS and I WITNESSED first hand that LOOK! For me as an artist it was the LOOK I get after Ive been on a FILMMAKERS or WRITERS BLOCK for AGES and then a BREAKTHROUGH is made. These American Samoa educators were EXPERIENCING that BREAKTHROUGH! Penny Semaias Life Skills 360° team via the Troy and Theodora Polamalu Foundation had worked their MAGIC for the first day of their workshop! American Samoa was in for another HUGE wake up call! - To be continued
