Adventures in Profound Moral Schizophrenia The RSPCA (England and Wales) reports: A woman has been fined and ordered to pay costs for causing unnecessary suffering to a cat by failing to provide veterinary care for a skin condition. Heres the post: https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=10152305957798047&set=a.76251508046.102003.7231383046&type=1 Unnecessary suffering? But the RSPCA *encourages* people to eat animal foods and that results in unimaginable amounts of hideous suffering--none of which is necessary. Indeed, the RSPCA has its own happy exploitation label--Freedom Food. freedomfood.co.uk/ So one person who imposes unnecessary suffering gets fined. And the rest of us who impose unnecessary suffering because we consume animal products think that were different and, indeed, the RSPCA tells us that were really morally superior if we purchase Freedom Food. Its all absolutely insane.
