Adversity. Now there is a topic that not so many people look forward to talking about. However,it is not one that we should completely ignore. Sometimes it can be a very challenging & troubled situation. I have even noticed at times that some folks even thing that when adversity comes they think that they or someone else has done something terribly wrong. However this is not always the case. In fact it can evcer be a blessing at times. Yes,I said blessing! You may ask,how do you mean? Glad you asked! When adversity has paid me a visit I have learned that it hurts more often than others. Such as a death in the family,financial status,family quarrells,hard decesions,harsh words & people just not understanding. But,I have come to know that some of these situations also brings patience,wisdom,faith,love & understanding. You see I could not understand why God allowed Job to loose every thing he had such as..........richs,family,catttle etc. ALL this is happening in just one day! In fact it just sounded crazy! But the Lord new Job and He knew he would stand faithful to the end. And because Job refused to allow himself to loose his integrity God blessed him several times over. You see,Job did nothing wrong. But his testing time had come. God said we all would be tested and tried as gold in the fire. But,he makes sure to let us know that he would not allow no more to come up on us than we could bare. So many things happened to Gods people through out his word that were not exactly encouraging at times. Never the less they never gave up! There eyes were fixed on the promises of the Lord. It wasnt because they were bad or they had done something wrong necessarily. But,because the Lord sent there trying times to them. Rejoice when you have been found worthy to be tried so saith the Lord. For this worketh in you patience! Stay faithful to God & He will stay faithful to you.
