Advice Issued For: Bittern, Crib Point, Hastings Fire Origin: Hastings Warringine Park Incident Name: FRANKSTON-FLINDERS RD Issued: 04/01/15 7:10 AM This Advice message is being issued by Country Fire Authority for Bittern, Crib Point, Hastings. Firefighters are continuing to extinguish burning trees and hot embers at the bushfire in the Hastings Warringine Park area. The fire has burnt over 120 hectares and is under control. Rain overnight has had little effect. Crews will commence assessing dangerous trees and the boardwalks this morning. There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Stay up to date with road closures at vicroads.vic.gov.au. The next update is expected by 04/01/15 12:00 PM or as the situation changes. Stay Informed: Via cfa.vic.gov.au. Tune to ABC Local Radio, commercial and designated community radio stations, or Sky News TV. Call the Victorian Bushfire Information Line (VBIL) on freecall 1800 240 667.
