Advice Issued For: Ensay, Swifts Creek, Brookville Fire Origin: 18KM E DARGO Incident Name: MARTHAVALE - FRIDAY SPUR NTH Issued: 23/01/14 10:10 AM This Advice message is being issued by Department of Environment and Primary Industries for Ensay, Swifts Creek, Brookville. This fire in the 18KM E DARGO area has burnt through approximately 99 hectares. Fire crews are working directly on hot spots and the fire edge while machines continue to work on fallback roads. A Public Safety Zone has been declared around this fire. People are not permitted to enter or remain in the Public Safety Zone until the 31 March 2014. There are a number of forest roads and tracks that have also been closed for public safety as crews and heavy machinery work in the area. There is currently no threat to communities. Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. The next update is expected by 24/01/14 10:00 AM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan.
