Advice Issued For: Patchewollock, Timberoo South, Torrita, Tutye, Underbool, Walpeup, Linga, Boinka Fire Origin: 15KM NW YAAPEET Incident Name: WYPERFELD NATIONAL PARK - LAKE Issued: 24/01/14 8:56 AM This Advice message is being issued by Department of Environment and Primary Industries for Patchewollock, Timberoo South, Torrita, Tutye, Underbool, Walpeup, Linga, Boinka. People will see fire activity in the north east and north west corners of Wyperfield National Park, 15 km south of Underbool. DEPI and CFA ground crews and aircraft will continue to deal with this activity and will be identifying and blacking out hot spots within these areas over the next few days. There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads The next update is expected by 25/01/14 9:00 AM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. If you have time check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions. If you are experiencing smoke exposure, seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024. Stay Informed: Via depi.vic.gov.au. Tune to ABC Local Radio, commercial and designated community radio stations, or Sky News TV. Call the Victorian Bushfire Information Line (VBIL) on freecall 1800 240 667.
